Despite the fact that Majesty Rose has officially been eliminated from the pool of contestants who could possibly be our next American Idol, she’s not letting anything keep her down. She still gets to tour with the rest of the Season 13 Top 10 this summer — and she has big plans for her future that don’t necessarily involve music.
“I’m happy I did this and I’m happy that I learned a lot from this experience, but obviously it really is a bittersweet thing,” Majesty says in an interview with Fox Audio Central after her elimination. “Because you’re part of this journey and you never know when it’s going to end.”
For Majesty, her favorite parts of that journey have been the opportunities that allowed her to grow as an artist and the chance to meet the other contestants, who she says are now her “friends forever.”
So what’s next? Aside from the summer tour, where she’ll get to hone those musical chops again, Majesty isn’t sure she sees music in her future. Trained as a preschool teacher, Majesty’s ready to do more work with kids.
“I definitely want to be on TV a lot,” Majesty shares. “Oh my gosh, I would love to be a commercial model. That would be great. If I could be like a representative for natural hair… If I could have my own show just for kids 'cause I really like kids a lot.”
No matter what she decides to do, Majesty will be awesome. Good luck!
