Amber Holcomb is aiming high for her post-American Idol goals. She says she wants to be in magazines, on runways, on billboards, in movies, and on TV shows. That about covers it, doesn’t it? But when it comes to the somewhat uncertain future of American Idol, the gorgeous singer has a rather interesting idea: She thinks the show should do consider doing an American Idol All Stars installment.

There’s no denying that the ratings of this long-running FOX show have been abysmal this season, and there are rumors at every turn that there will be a huge staff shakeup for season 13. So when we asked her what her thought might be on how to breathe new life into Idol, she said to bring some of the former contestants back. Now that would be something! Hey, if it’s good enough for Survivor...

When asked who she might like to see return to the Idol stage, Amber named Joshua Ledet, Jennifer Hudson, Jessica Sanchez, and, of course, herself!

At first, we kind of thought this was just the ramblings of a sleep deprived Idol contestant. But when we thought about it, and it’s not a half-bad idea. Although they might want to consider allowing new singers on as well, as the show is about launching new talent when all is said and done.

What do you think of Amber’s idea for an American Idol All Stars show?
