American Idol Top 2 finalist Jessica Sanchez will be sharing the stage for at least one duet on Wednesday’s big Season 11 finale episode.

According to a recent tweet from Jennifer Holliday — Broadway’s original Dreamgirl Effie — she and Jessica will perform a duet during the Season 11 send-off show, and Jennifer’s filled with “overwhelming joy” about the matching.
Meanwhile, it looks like Joshua “Mantasia” Ledet may return for the finale after being eliminated last week from the Top 3, not as a competitor but rather to perform a duet with one of his idols, Season 3 winner Fantasia Barrino. Joshua previously said that he would love to perform a duet with Fantasia during On Air With Ryan Seacrest last week, and yesterday, he tweeted, “You guys are so In for a treat at this finale I'm performing with the most amazing singer in history!”Then, Fantasia shared a picture of herself with Joshua on Twitter, writing “My 1st stop upon arrival here was to visit someone very dear to my heart.” Fantasia’s trainer also added a photo of the two to Twitter and wrote, “We are at rehearsal for the American Idol finale where [Fantasia] & Joshua will Roc.” This hasn’t been confirmed, but it definitely looks to be true!Other performers confirmed for the big finale include Rihanna and Scotty McCreery, and Aerosmith is rumored to be performing.
