If life goes exactly as planned, American Idol 2013 finalist Amber Holcomb will be making music in five years. The gorgeous singer didn’t stop there, however, saying she hopes she’s selling out concerts and that everyone will know her name. While the singer got a slow start when it comes to gaining American Idol fans, we’re guessing people started seeing her in a different light after the judges and Jimmy Iovine named her as part of their ideal Top Three.
If she could sing through an instrument, it would be the saxophone because it’s so smooth. That’s funny, as that’s exactly how we would describe her vocals. Despite her lack of a social media fan base up until now, this powerhouse vocalist has yet to have a bad performance.
Amber’s biggest influence has been her sister, who taught her how to sing. Not only did she teach Amber, but she made her do her performances over and over again until she would get the vocals perfect. Apparently it worked — not only does she draw constant comparisons to Whitney Houston, but the American Idol judges have made it clear that Amber has one of the best, if not THE best, voice in the competition.
