Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and home, oh my! The final contenders on American Idol 2013 sure get thrust into stardom at a breakneck pace.

According to a spoiler report from MJsBigBlog, the Top 40 arrived in LA on February 3, where each contestant met with 19 Entertainment (the firm that manages most of the Idol talent). The Top 40 will supposedly leave LA on February 15.

The Top 20 singers whose Las Vegas performances will air on February 20 and 21 will go straight to Sin City. The remaining 20, whose performances will air the following week (February 27 and 28), will get to go home first and then fly to Vegas on or about February 22nd.

The boys and girls will continue to be split during the semifinals, the same way Hollywood Week is dividing the contestants. None of them know yet which week they will perform.

If it were you were one of the lucky American Idol 2013 singers, would you prefer to go home first, or go with the momentum and travel straight to Las Vegas to perform?
