We’re not sure about you, but we went through a whole box of tissues after last night’s American Idol results show. It was so sad to see Burnell Taylor go, especially having only one bad performance. And who didn’t fall in love with that laugh? Sigh. That’s the way the American Idol cookie crumbles though, and so it’s on with the show. Now that it’s down to the Top Six, it’s time for our power rankings! Here is how we see the rest of the season panning out as of right now:

6. Lazaro Arbos: Maybe we’re kidding ourselves, but we think it may finally be the time for this guy to GO! Sure, he was in the top three not long ago, but we think Janelle fans will be voting like maniacs this week to ensure she stays. And after the judges basically tried to ignore his very existence after two terrible performances last night, we hope even the Vote For The Worst crowd has had enough. If not, Jimmy Iovine may quit!

5. Janelle Arthur: Janelle is fantastic but, now that it’s down to six, her weeks are numbered. Unless she pulls out another tender acoustic moment that just makes everyone suddenly fall in love with her, she is out of here.

2. Amber Holcomb: This girl has the vocal chops to win it all, but not the fan base. Again, that’s just the way it goes on this show. Unless someone launches a major social media campaign for her this week, we can’t put her any higher up the ranks than #4. Too bad though, because she has given some truly amazing performances recently.

3. Angie Miller: After the abomination that was her rendition of “Shop Around” a few weeks back, Angie came back strong last week and reminded us why we’ve been rooting for her. Note to Angie, though: Lose the wind machine. Thankfully this week Angie was back behind the piano for her second song and rocked it out. Her first choice for the evening was a little weak, however, and thus we could not promote her beyond third place in our rankings.

2. Kree Harrison: For weeks on end, we’ve had this girl at #1, and we’ve continuing to stick by her through thick and thin (and pinched nerves!). She’s shown us that she can bring it every week, and this week she still gave us beautiful performances. However, she just couldn't quite compete with Candice's history-making performance this week on American Idol 2013.

1. Candice Glover: This spot was a toss-up between Candice and Kree. Both are vocal powerhouses with an old-school vibe but, after a double standing ovation last night for her "Lovesong" by The Cure performance, we just had to give the win to Candice this week.
