If you thought the mind-blowingly big star power was going to be limited to the judges table on American Idol 2013 this season, think again. Phillip Phillips was recently confirmed as a performer for the March 14th episode, and Interscope Records just announced that Jersey rockers Bon Jovi will be on hand as well.

P2 will be singing his new and already hugely successful single, “Gone, Gone, Gone,” while Bon Jovi will perform “Because We Can,” a song from their upcoming album, What About Now. (Oddly enough, also the title of a single by American Idol alum Chris Daughtry.) The album is scheduled to drop on March 12, so this will be a timely performance for the iconic band.

As THR reports, Jon Bon Jovi and keyboardist Dave Bryan were mentors on the show during American Idol season six, which might drum up memories of Idol contender Blake Lewis’ surprisingly catchy take on “You Give Love A Bad Name”.

Could Phillip Phillips and Bon Jovi team up for a song? Sigh -- a girl can dream.

Who would you like to see perform on this American Idol Season 12?
