Can't wait to get a taste of the hometown visits for the Top 3 this week? Check out our American Idol spoilers for Kree Harrison's trip back to her hometown of Woodville, TX!

Watching Kree Harrison perform on this season of American Idol, it hasn’t been difficult to imagine what one of her live shows will be like in the not-so-distant future. From all the reports, it seems as though Kree’s hometown visit to Woodville, Texas, on Saturday was like looking into a crystal ball. Tickets to see her live sold out extemely fast and it seems everyone who attended was floored by Kree's performance.

According to MJs Big Blog, here is Kree's hometown visit schedule from Saturday:

  • 8:00 AM – Press Conference at the Wesley Center of Woodville United Methodist Church 515 Walt Davis Drive, Woodville, TX Q and A with Kree
  • 10:00 AM – Parade on Hwy 190 in Woodville Starts at Kelly St. and ends at Charlton St.

  • 3:30-6:30 pm – Concert at Ford Park

If you’ve been watching American Idol 2013 for a while, you know that the hometown visits turn these folks into emotional, blubbering messes, and who can blame them?

We can imagine we’re really in for this with Kree, who lost both her parents tragically at a young age. In fact, Kree’s day involved not only a crawfish boil with her family and hometown mayor, Ben Bythewood, but also a trip to her childhood home with her sister. Grab the tissues for that one, folks!

There was also an impromptu performance at the Tyler County Rodeo from the bed of a pickup truck, a ride on a mechanical bull, a hometown parade, and the sold-out show in the evening at nearby Ford Park.

The concert was a veritable who’s who, as Misa Arriaga flew in to perform with her after a Friday gig on The Late Show With David Letterman, and Kree’s close friend, Kacey Musgraves, accompanied her on guitar and background vocals. Her song choices were stellar, as you can see below:

  • “With A Little Help From My Friends”

  • “Don’t Play That Song”

  • “Up To The Mountain” (which we predicted will be “Jimmy’s Choice” for her this week)

  • “Evidence”

  • “See You Again”

As for what was the coolest moment, Angie told People, “I went to this amazing church that was the first place I ever sang and I got to see our preacher, who is this amazing woman. And the church itself has so much history. That's where my parents got married. That's where I was baptized. My sister got married there. The preacher actually spoke at both of my parents' funerals, so to see her and to get to go to that church was really, really cool.”

We did say to grab your tissues, right? Kree Harrison's American Idol hometown visit is going to be a doozie! Whose hometown visit are you most excited to see?
