Well, next week we'll have all the Top 4 American Idol 2013 finalists back again, and we have the spoilers on what their song themes will be!
Rumors were swirling fast and hard that there would be a non-elimination show on Thursday night to accommodate for the extra week in the schedule before the American Idol finale. Turns out the rumors were indeed true, and all four ladies will be back next week.
So what will they be singing? On the results show Thursday night, Ryan Seacrest officially announced the theme as "then and now" for next week. According to our favorite American Idol spoilers source, The Idol Pad, this will be broken down into two themes: “standards” and “hit songs of 2013”. What a combo!
We are sure the first theme will result in a whole lot of classic ballads that have been done to death on every reality TV talent show in existence. The second theme, however, has far more promise. This would be the most modern theme ever on American Idol and force the remaining contestants to prove they can handle a song that is hot right now and sound as good as, or better, than the original contemporary artist.
After all, these are the same singers they will be competing with for fans if they are named the Season 12 American Idol winner, right?
What do you think of the American Idol spoilers for next week’s song themes?
