There’s nothing like a good American Idol spoilers leake, and MJs Big Blog (via The Idol Pad) offered us a doozie today. We got (almost) all of the song choices by the Season 12 Top 4 this week, and to say that some of them are interesting is an understatement. Unfortunately, “interesting” isn’t necessarily a good thing with many of them. Let’s take a look.

Personal Choice:

Candice Glover – “Find Your Love” by Drake

Honestly, we’re not all that excited about this one. We’d have killed to hear her sing Adele’s “Skyfall,” even though she sang an Adele song a couple of weeks ago. However, knowing Candice, she’s got something up her sleeve to make this exciting. Find out what Candice had to say about her song choice in our exclusive American Idol spoilers interview.

Amber Holcomb – “Power of Love” by Celine Dion

No! Just no! We feel that Amber’s issue up until now is she doesn’t have a current enough vibe, and this isn’t going to do her any favors. Find out what Amber had to say about her song choice in our exclusive American Idol spoilers interview.

Angie Miller – “Who U R” by Jessie J

We’re not all that jazzed about this choice either, as she’s already done it, and she’s already done three Jesse J songs! The American Idol judges are definitely going to have something to say about that. If she were going to do a repeat, we’d prefer she sing her original song again! Find out what Angie had to say about her song choice in our exclusive American Idol spoilers interview.

Kree Harrison –  "It Hurt So Bad" by Susan Tedeschi

Okay, this is the first one that really excites us. With this song, we think she’ll have another moment like “Up To The Mountain”. Let Kreedom ring! Find out what Kree had to say about her song choice in our interview with her about this week's performances.

One Hit Wonders:

Candice Glover – “Emotion” by Samantha Sang/Destiny’s Child

We have to agree with MJ Santilli of MJs Big Blog on this one, as we do NOT understand how anything by Destiny’s Child could ever be considered a one hit wonder. Helloooo! Perhaps it’s because it was the only hit by Samantha Sang. Either way, we think this song choice could be super sleepy! We like our choice much better, as she would have killed “What’s Up” by the 4 Non Blondes.

Amber Holcomb – “MacArthur Park” by Richard Harris/Donna Summer

We really feel like Amber needed more contemporary choices this week and, between this and her choice to sing Celine Dion, we definitely think she could be in trouble.

Angie Miller – “Cry Me A River” by Julie London

What is it with these sleepy song choices? The theme wasn’t “Songs To Nap To,” was it? Jeesh! Perhaps Angie will do this at the piano and have a moment, but we’re not sold just yet.

Kree Harrison"A Whiter Shade Of Pale" by Procol Harum/Annie Lennox

This should be a very interesting song choice for Kree. We can't wait to see how she adds a bit of country twang to Annie Lennox!

Overall, we thought these girls would go with some super fun choices, like taking on contemporary artists like Rihanna, Adele, or P!nk. We can’t help but be a little disappointed, but perhaps they will prove us wrong.

On the bright side, the duos are going to be amazing. If the spoilers are correct, Amber and Kree will be singing “Rumor Has It” by Adele and Angie and Candice will be performing “Stay” by Rihanna. We actually had that on our list of song choices for Angie to sing, but this will surely be a history-making moment on Idol.

What do you think of these song choices?
