Now that the Top 10 contestants have been selected for Season 12, it’s time for the guys and the girls to get their official American Idol makeovers! (Too bad Elijah Liu didn’t make it through to the finals. He and his amazing leather jackets would have saved the Idol stylists some serious time and money.)

Following the results show on Thursday, March 7, the Top 10 contenders teamed up with the American Idol glam squad for their second photoshoot of the season. Though most viewers seem to think the girls have this year in the bag, we really do think it’s anyone’s game!

21-year-old Lazaro Arbos melts our hearts with his touching story, but we’re not entirely convinced that his voice is strong enough to carry him through to the end.

While Janelle Arthur has the pipes of a woman twice her age, we might like to see the competition take a break from country this time around.

Curtis Finch Jr. brings that church-grown soul every time he performs, but will he be able to show different sides of himself through various theme weeks?

23-year-old Candice Glover’s been called a “standout star” in the competition, but we think she might need to show a bit more personality to really connect with America.

Kree Harrison wows the crowd with her angelic voice and humble demeanor, though we’re worried poppier tunes could be a trouble spot for the Texas native.

While Amber Holcomb’s got some serious control and range, song choice could land her into hot water this year. (What have we said about trying to take on Whitney Houston?)

Paul Jolley surprised the judges when he made it into the Top 10, but his pop-country vibe could be a favorite among the voters.

Clear frontrunner Angela Miller stuns with her signature sound, but will she be able to give just as strong of performances when she’s not “doing what she does best?”

While New Orleans native Burnell Taylor brings his powerful backstory into every song he sings, we have yet to really hear that “moment” that Randy’s always talking about.

We can’t deny the professionalism of Devin Velez’s voice, but he needs to show the country he can do more than just sing in Spanish.
