Have you ever heard of The Beatles? The American Idol contestants keep getting younger and younger, and some Season 12 contestants struggled despite being able to choose iconic songs from the Fab Four.

On Wednesday, March 20, the Top 9 contestants — Lazaro Arbos, Janelle Arthur, Candice Glover, Kree Harrison, Amber Holcomb, Paul Jolley, Angela Miller, Burnell Taylor, and Devin Velez — paid homage to the legendary British band with some very recognizable tunes — and one even Mariah Carey didn’t know.

While many of the renditions were flawless (Candice can do no wrong, can she?) had the judges rocking, others got a tad more scrutiny. Lazaro ended up a little teary after Keith Urban and Nicki Minaj said he’d chosen the wrong key to sing “My Life” in. Then Nicki told Paul that she flat out didn’t like his performance of “Eleanor Rigby.”

Will your favorite makes it through to the Top 9, or will they be packing their bags for home? Watch all of the performances from the Top 9 below, then make sure to tune in on Thursday, March 21 to hear the results!
