As we’ve seen with Phillip Phillips, who has been touring with Matchbox Twenty, and Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson, who work with just about everyone, American Idol can certainly open some doors in the music biz. But it’s very rare that an established band or musician will express interest in a hopeful this early on in the season. Then again, American Idol season 12 singer Kree Harrison isn’t just any contestant.

The country demo singer has made a name for herself in Nashville and, one band in particular, is already vocalizing their interest in the singer. According to CMT, Little Big Town is “drinking the Kree Kool-Aid.”

"She is an artist, and I am so happy that she is getting a chance to use her gift on a broader platform and for people to hear her," said Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild. "If those American Idol judges are smart, they will keep her on the whole way. We have to vote for Kree, we just have to. She deserves this chance to shine, it is her moment."

Sometimes Idol contestants fade into obscurity, but it looks like Kree will have a long career ahead of her. Catch her performance along with her fellow Top 10 girls tonight on FOX (8 PM-10 PM CT).
