It’s baaaaack...well, almost.

You’ll still have to wait until January, but American Idol Season 12 will have a two-night premiere, starting with a two-hour episode on Wednesday, January 16, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. A second episode will air on Thursday, January 17, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

We can’t wait to see new judges Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, and Keith Urban work with Idol veteran Randy Jackson to find the next great pop star.
