You’re likely just getting over your SuperVote fatigue from American Idol 2013 performance show, so it’s time to take a look at what’s in store for Thursday’s results show! First and foremost, we will find out which of the following hopefuls will have his or her American Idol Season 12 journey come to an end:
Of course, there’s more to the one-hour American Idol results show than that moment when Ryan Seacrest says “dim the lights.” American Idol’s inaugural winner Kelly Clarkson will return to her roots to perform her new single, “People Like Us”. We imagine she’ll linger for a bit to give us a bit of that sweet southern charm, and we certainly hope she’ll dish on her upcoming wedding to Brandon Blackstock!
Season ten winner Scotty McCreery will also be gracing the Idol stage once again to perform his latest single, “See You Tonight”. Considering two of the Top 6 hopefuls left in the competition are country singers, we imagine this performance will be another big hit!
Alas, this is the last week for the judges to use the highly anticipated save. Will they go the season without enlisting it at all? We imagine if one of those five girls is on the chopping block, they’ll definitely use it. If it’s Lazaro, however, we think it may be time for him to walk the Idol plank.
