Shortly after Phillip Phillips announced that his debut album would be out sometime next month, the American Idol Season 11 winner revealed the official release date and cover art for his very first album.

Phillip tweeted the news earlier this morning, writing, “Hey guys, this my official album cover/title! Hope you like it and my album will be released 11-19!”

Titled The World From the Side of the Moon (a Pink Floyd reference, perhaps?), the album will largely feature songs written or co-written by P2 himself. The singer also enlisted hometown talent in the form of his brother-in-law Ben Neil, who plays guitar on a few of the tracks. (Fans with excellent memories will recall Phillip calling Ben his “inspiration” and jamming with him when the Top 8 performed.)

The tracklist for The World will also include “Home,” the single that’s given Phillip’s post-Idol career some serious momentum.

How excited are you for P2’s debut to drop?
