American Idol’s Phillip Phillips Recovering From Surgery

What a relief! American Idol Season 11 winner Phillip Phillips is on the road to wellness. TMZ reports that the singer finally underwent a much-delayed surgical procedure yesterday for his kidney stones.

According to the site, the surgery took six-and-a-half hours, but he’s doing much better today.

We hope Phillip feels better soon. Luckily, he has a nursing student (who happens to double as his girlfriend) to take care of him.
