Ashton Kutcher looks very serious while he talks to CNN in October, 2010.
Even cheaters need friends! Amidst a swirling sex scandal and rumors of divorce from wife Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher is turning to one surprise confidant: Ryan Seacrest. Turns out, Kid Butterscotch doesn’t just play cheerleader on Idol – he’s a kind and caring friend in real life.
Ashton honored Ryan at the LA’s Promise 2011 gala at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood on September 27, and took that time to tell Ryan how grateful he is for their friendship. “Backstage Ashton took Ryan aside and thanked him for being such ‘an incredible friend through such difficult times,’” a source tells Hollywood Life.
The source continues, “They were in a deep conversation for about 40 minutes and at the end Ashton and Ryan gave each other a big hug. Ashton thanked Ryan for always sending him text messages saying, ‘Just thinking about you’ and ‘How are you doing today?’ Ashton was overheard telling Ryan, ‘It’s during the most challenging times in your life that you really realize who your good friends are!’”
Ashton will be keeping Ryan in his Top 5 for the time being; it looks like the worst is far from over.
