A crazed Clay Aiken stalker who was arrested outside his home earlier this month climbed the fence around his property and was carrying binoculars, according to the 911 call about the incident.
Barbara Jean Saylor, 57, was spotted trying to peer into the windows of the former American Idol runner-up’s house in North Carolina on April 3. Police responded to a 911 call about the stalker after the woman was ordered to leave and refused.
The wacky fan, who hails from Kirkland, WA, was hauled off to jail on charges of trespassing and misdemeanor stalking after being arrested outside Clay Aiken’s home. The former Celebriy Apprentice contestant declined to press charges against the woman, who the singer claimed "had done something similar in the past." She was later released on a $5,000 bond.
In the 911 call, an operator reports that Barbara Jean Saylor climbed the fence around Clay’s property in a gated community and walked up to the front door. She is described in the tape as “5’6 to 5’7 tall, dark-brown hair, shoulder-length... white female” and “carrying binoculars”.
Although this Clay Aiken stalker appears to be mostly harmless, we’re sure the singer is hoping he won’t be seeing any more of her creeping around outside his front door!
