American Idol lovers are some of the most rabid fans out there. Ask anyone who has ever said anything bad about Clay Aiken. Hell hath no fury like a Claymate scorned! However, these days, Glamberts (Adam Lambert’s fans) are giving Claymates a run for their money in pure fanaticism.
Glamberts are so enamored of Adam, they’ve launched an entire online magazine dedicated to the rising star. The publication, BEDLAM, had its first edition released on Tuesday. It’s a fan-driven e-zine that allows them to contribute articles, reviews, new pieces, and interviews.
The team describes the mag on their website:
“BEDLAM is an ongoing creative alliance comprised of Adam Lambert fans coming together to share our creative works, ideas, and passion on the pages of Bedlam Fanzine, a FREE interactive digital magazine.”
You must be an epic Adam Lambert fan to wade through his publication, as the premiere issue is 234 pages. The team explains the length, saying, “This 234 page rebooted premiere issue explores how fans express their fascination and fanaticism with Adam Lambert! The digital fanzine will feature original art, fashion, essays, humor, photos, commentary, “BEST” lists, playlists, event recaps, recipes, blog, profiles, interviews, and much, much more.”
WOW! With nearly 140,000 Twitter followers already, we wonder if AngiesDreamers (Angie Miller’s fans) might become as dedicated as the Glamberts. It’s tough to live up to this, that’s for sure!
Why do you think Adam has inspired such loyalty from his fans?
