Former American Idol winner Carrie Underwood has come a long way since she was a fresh-faced country cutie auditioning for Season 4 of the hit talent reality show. After she won American Idol, Carrie Underwood skyrocketed to fame as a true country music superstar and shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon.

Over the years since her stint on American Idol, Carrie Underwood has won Sixteen Billboard Music Awards, eleven Academy of Country Music Awards, seven American Music Awards and a half dozen Grammy Awards.

Carrie added to her impressive total on Sunday night with a 2013 Grammy Award for Best Country Solo Performance for “Blown Away” off her fourth album by the same title. Written by Josh Kear & Chris Tompkins, “Blown Away” beat out songs performed by some of country music’s most beloved stars.
