The American Idol results are in for the Top 3 elimination and apparently the voters were feeling crazy tonight! Despite mass predictions across the Net that either Candice Glover or, more likely, Kree Harrison would be the one who went home on American Idol tonight, it was Angie Miller who was eliminated!
We've loved Angie since the beginning of the season and even predicted her to win it all several times during her run on the show. Now we are sad to have to bid farewell to the girl who had the bravery to sing an original song on the show and kill it so hard, the American Idol judges couldn't stop talking about it for weeks!
Despite having hearing problems for much of her life, 18-year-old Angela Miller wowed the judges right from the start with her rendition of Jessie J’s “Mama Knows Best” during the audition rounds. Angie did major justice to the British singer’s tune, and landed a ticket to Hollywood. After that it was an easy ride through to the Top 40.
Angela Miller went on to make a HUGE impression on the judges during Round 4 of Hollywood Week, getting a standing ovation after performing an original tune. They loved it so much, they couldn't stop talking about it after her Vegas week performance either!
Following another astoundingly great performance of another Jessie J song in the first Vegas round, Angela was given a happy pass through to the Top 20 by the judges. After her absolutely fabulous performance in the semi-finals, she easily moved on to the Top 10 and rocked her way all the way to the final three.
Watch all of Angela's performances so far on American Idol 2013 below and say goodbye with us to this fabulously talented contestant.
