We fell in love with Frankie Ford before he even auditioned for American Idol Season 12. The Brooklyn hopeful won us over with his dedication: He dropped out of school to pursue his dream of singing and has been making a living busking on New York trains.
The fact that he has a rich, warm voice definitely helped matters. He had to stop and start again while singing “Sweet Dreams” by the Eurythmics, but it didn’t matter. The judges loved him. Frankie is going to Hollywood — but is he going any farther?
Unfortunately, Frankie has a heartbreaking emotional exit from American Idol 2013 in the first night of Hollywood Week. This is one time we hope the spoilers are wrong!
