Goodbye Janelle Arthur! Watch All Her American Idol 2013 Performances Here!

Janelle Arthur made a bold move by choosing a song by American Idol 2013 judge Keith Urban for her audition. But thankfully she blew it out of the water, impressing everyone (especially Keith himself).

 
So how far did this soulful country singer get on Season 12 of Idol? Well, she blew the judges away during Round 4 of Hollywood Week with her take on Carrie Underwood's "I Told You So" and earned a place in Vegas.

During the Vegas rounds, the judges gave her a lot of criticism for her performances, but decided she had a lot of potential and named her as a part of the Top 20. After her terrific performance in the semi-finals, she made the Top 10 with shining colors! Although she spent a lot of time coming very close to being eliminated, Janelle squeaked through to the all girls Top 5, but that was the end of the road for her. She received the lowest number of votes of all the ladies and failed to earn a unanimous 'Save' vote from the judges. She was sent home.
