Ryan Seacrest is basically the man behind the Hollywood machine. Ryan hosts American Idol, executive produces the entire Kardashian franchise, hosts his own radio show, and produces feature films with Reese Witherspoon. Now, with a new show reality show called The Wanted Life in production for E!, his net worth is likely to rise even higher. So we did some digging to find exactly how Ryan Seacrest's net worth really is (spoiler alert: a fortune!).

Forbes, calling Ryan the “heir to Dick Clark’s throne,” reports that Ryan made $61 million between May 2010 and May 2011. This number includes Ryan’s $15-million-per-year Idol salary and his $45 million multi-year contract with E!.

His expanded role with the Today show, whichincludes both hosting and “increasing his role” at NBCUniversal, pays Ryan an additional $17 to $20 million annually, according to The Wall Street Journal.

In addition to Ryan’s annual salaries, he makes a fair amount of pocket change in one-off appearances and brand deals. The Dick Clark New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest gig, for example, brings home $1 million in bacon for just four hours of screen time.

If you add up all of these numbers, you get one very large sum of money. Ryan Seacrest’s net worth is an estimated $200 million, according to, and rising.
