Whitney Houston's indelible mark on the world of music will take center stage at tonight's Grammy Awards, as producers honor the late singer with song.
Jennifer Hudson will take the stage in what Grammy executive producer Ken Erhlich told the Los Angeles Times will be a "respectful musical tribute."
"It's too fresh in everyone's memory to do more at this time," he told the paper, adding, "but we would be remiss if we didn't recognize Whitney's remarkable contribution to music fans in general, and in particular her close ties with the Grammy telecast and her Grammy wins and nominations over the years."
The Grammy Awards air tonight at 8 p.m. on CBS.
Whitney Houston died Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the age of 48.
