Now that American Idol is over, Jennifer Lopez is using her downtime to develop her singing competition show, ¡Q'Viva! The Chosen. While the show has yet to find a network, it’s already starting to get major buzz.

A main focus for the show will be uniting Latin culture while highlighting diverse musical styles. "[This] is probably going to be the biggest thing I've been involved with yet,” explains Jennifer in the trailer. “This is like me being able to really go, 'I am Latina and this is who we are.’ Isn't it fabulous? Doesn't it bring tears to your eyes?’"

Joining J.Lo and her husband Marc Anthony as they travel through 21 countries to find new artists is Jamie King, who has worked as a concert director for Rihanna and Britney Spears. Said King, "This is less about competition and more about finding great talent. Unlike Idol and other shows of its kind, there is no audition stage on ¡Q'Viva!” Instead of bringing competitors to the judges, Jennifer and her team will scour clubs, bars, dance studios, underground dance halls and festivals, looking for amazing artists.

Sounds hot! Check out the trailer below and let us know in the comments if you’ll watch Ms. Lopez’s new show.
