Love don't cost a thing  but big-name judges do.

A source tells The Wrap that Fox is planning to clean house on American Idol by cutting all four of its current 2013 judges.

That also means that the show reportedly doesn't plan on bringing back former judge Jennifer Lopez.

There had been recent rumors that J-Lo was being discussed by the show's producers to be brought in to replace Mariah Carey at the judges' table, although that never came to fruition.

However, it now sounds like Jennifer is not being talked about to join the show at all.

Fox is said to want to completely revamp the show and get away from the high-priced judges who bring big attitudes with their big salaries.

"They feel they've lost their core audience and they want it back," the source says of the network. "No more big checks for divas."

"Despite reports to the contrary, Fox isn't even considering bringing former judge Jennifer Lopez back as a lifesaver for next season," The Wrap adds.

If this is true, Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey, Keith Urban, and even show mainstay Randy Jackson would all be gone in 2014. Say it ain't so, dawg.

What's Fox's problem with the show? Mainly the ratings, which continue to hit all-time lows as the season progresses.

The source says the network also wants to revamp the look of the show and get rid of the dated tribute nights.

Do you think the changes will help bring viewers back, or is it too little, too late?
