Will she or won’t she? That is the question on every American Idol fan’s mind.

Speaking to The Today Show this morning about her whether she will return to judge Season 12 of the hit show, Jennifer Lopez hinted that it might be time for her to move on from the judging table.

I am thinking that maybe it’s time for me to go and do other things that I really love to do,” said J.Lo to host Natalie Morales. She added, “But then again I really love the show, so...”

Jennifer explained her hesitation over making a definite decision, saying “I’ve loved it so much... I enjoy just the whole process of the show and the whole thing. So it’s a tough decision either way.” For her to continue on Idol, she said, it would involve giving up on other projects that she loves to do. She also noted that she originally only signed on for just one season and has since done two.

Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe has indicated that the ball is totally in Jennifer’s court, and that she’s got a place on the show if and when she does decide to return.

Meanwhile, replacement rumors abound with names like Adam Lambert, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, and others. Tick tock, J.Lo!
