Jennifer Lopez to Perform on American Idol?

OMG, we’re freaking out! New American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez said in a recent interview with Latina magazine that she might actually perform on the show. Folks, this is epic!

We would LOVE to see J.Lo bust out some classics from her back catalog, but more than likely if she plays she’ll be taking material from her most recent work. And don’t look for a spicy suet with her and hubby Marc Anthony on the show anytime soon.

"The family has been on set. Marc loves going,” said Lopez. “He loves the show and it's like watching the show for hours a day. [But there’s] no cameo for Marc planned.”

Awww, there you go bursting our bubble. But we would take a Jennifer Lopez Idol performance any day of the week. We’re officially excited about this!
