Despite the legal drama that caused his departure from American Idol Season 11, there’s no love lost between Jermaine Jones and his former co-contestants from the show.

According to TMZ, Jermaine linked up with his fellow former alums during their American Idols Live! tour stop in Philadelphia on Tuesday. He was a bona fide ticket purchaser for the show, but Joshua Ledet scored him some backstage passes so he could chat with some of his old buddies behind the scenes.

Jermaine told TMZ the gang was “showing a lot of love” to him during their reunion, but he still wishes things had played out differently for him with the producers.

As Idol fans may remember, Jermaine was eliminated on the March 14th show after producers Nigel Lythgoe and Ken Warwick discovered outstanding warrants for his arrest which weren’t disclosed during the audition process.

Jermaine said of the matter, "I think I told them at the time what I needed to for my information to qualify, but overall I just wish of course that I did things differently." He’s still “grateful for the experience,” though, and admitted, “American Idol helped me in my career and gave me good exposure.”
