Joshua Ledet and Jessica Sanchez Share Their Favorite American Idol Moments

It’s safe to say Season 11 of American Idol was filled with magical moments from Jessica Sanchez’s moving rendition of Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” to winner Phillip Phillips’ unexpected tear-jerking moment during his victory lap.
Talking with PEOPLE, Jessica and second runner-up Joshua Ledet spilled on their favorite Idol memories.
“Singing with Jennifer Holliday was by far the best,” said Jessica of her fierce duet with the “And I’m Telling You” singer. She called Jennifer her “second mama” and said the two stay in touch via Twitter.
As for Joshua, he reminisced about his performance of Percy Sledge’s “When a Man Loves a Woman,” saying that loved the feedback he got from both the judges and the audience.
If he were able to count post-Idol moments, we’re sure Joshua would have put his run-in with First Lady Michelle Obama during his appearance on Live! With Kelly at the top of the list!
