American Idol Season 5 alum Kellie Pickler has officially split from her record label, Sony Music Nashville.

ABC News Radio confirmed the news with a statement from Kelly’s manager Larry Fitzgerald which said, “Kellie’s contract with Sony came to an end and they mutually decided not to renew.”

Kellie’s been with the label since 2006, when she first completed Idol in sixth place. Her first album, Small Town Girl, went gold and produced two major hits, “Red High Heels” and “I Wonder.” Her second self-titled album came out in 2008 and included the hit songs “Best Days of Your Life” and “Don’t Know You’re Beautiful.” Her third and most recent album, 100 Proof, was released in January of this year, and the first single from the record, “Tough,” debuted in the Top 100.

Soon after the release of 100 Proof, Kellie told ABC News Radio that she’d continue making music whether or not she had a record deal. We wish her nothing but the best of luck!
