As we reported earlier, Kris Allen’s 2013 started off with a bang — or rather a crash. Kris’s mother tweeted a photo of the Season 8 winner after a pretty serious car accident looking banged up (he has a broken wrist), but also seemingly poking fun of the situation.
Kris used his own Twitter page to announce that he, his wife, his pup, and wee-one-to-be were all thankfully alright. Yep, that’s right — the “Out Alive” singer is gonna be a dad, too!
This afternoon, he shared a photo via Instagram of the car he was driving when he had the accident, and it’s safe to say that’s what they call a “totaled” car. “Glad to make it out of this #outalive,” Kris wrote alongside the gruesome picture.
It’s almost hard to believe everyone inside walked away with only bumps and bruises. Proving himself a trooper, Kris has ensured that his tour — aptly called “Out Alive” — will still go on. Phew.
