Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj Feud Promoted in New American Idol Commercial (VIDEO)

Much ado has been made of the profanity-laced feud between diva judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj that took place during auditions in October.

But instead of acting as though the two musical phenoms have extended the proverbial olive branch, American Idol  is now embracing the feud and touting it in the show’s latest promo. Still wondering whether the rumors of their fight being staged are true? After watching this clip, we’re not sure what to believe!

All we know is, if looks really can kill, both judges would be six feet under. There undoubtedly will be no shortage of “exchanges” between Mariah and Nicki once this highly anticipated new season begins.
