If your voice is beautiful enough to make Mariah Carey cry, you bet you’re gonna make it to the next level of American Idol auditions.
In the newest promo for Season 12 of Idol, Mariah describes how much a show like this means to aspiring singers.
“I didn’t have a show like Idol,” she said of her own path to superstardom. “I always sang and I always wrote. It’s just having that ambition. You really can’t let go of your dreams.
A montage of Mimi giving feedback to contestants ends with a shot of her crying after one singer’s audition.
“I felt every single word you sang,” she said.
We can’t wait to see who that contestant is!
