If the latest American Idol judging rumors are true, there stands to be a considerable shakeup in the structure of the panel!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fox execs are looking to expand the judges’ table to a four-member group to include confirmed judge Mariah Carey, a country artist (an insider points to Keith Urban as the frontrunner), a Latin artist (Enrique Iglesias is a leading pick), and pop star Nicki Minaj.

Nicki’s name has previously come up in the mix of judging candidates, but a source now says that she’s being more seriously considered. But one thing could stand in the way of the colorful singer joining Mariah on the panel: her current endorsement deal with Pepsi.

Idol has a $26 million deal with Coke, which would conflict with Nicki’s contract with the rival soft drink company.

With all this new information, we’re wondering where that leaves rumored judge contenders Nick Jonas and Pharrell Williams!
