Nicki Minaj on Mariah Carey: “I Don’t Think She Was Expecting to Meet Her Match”

Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey may have put their reported feud behind them for now, but that doesn’t mean the rapper is putting the claws away completely.

In a preview for Part 2 of her E! reality special, Nicki Minaj: My Truth, the curvaceous diva struggles to balance recording a new album with launching her own perfume, filming music videos, preparing for tour, and judging Season 12 of American Idol.

Sitting on a private jet, Nicki waxes poetic about her first meeting with co-judge Mariah Carey, saying, “I think Mariah met her match this time, and I don’t think she was expecting to meet her match.”

With that attitude, we don’t see this “feud” going away once the cameras start rolling for Idol in January!
