Nikki Reed Says She’s Not Pregnant and Will Not Be for a “Very Long Time”! Exclusive

Rumors have been swirling all week that one of the stars of the Twilight franchise has a bun in the oven, ever since Gawker posted this blind item. Since Nikki Reed, who plays Rosalie, recently married American Idol’s Paul McDonald, everyone assumed she was the one who was likely expecting. But last night at the opening of the Wired pop-up store in NYC’s Times Square, Nikki set the record straight, exclusively telling Wetpaint Entertainment that she is most definitely not getting a visit from the stork any time soon.

“No,” Nikki told us. “It’s not me. Not for a very long time!”

So does that mean it’s one of her female co-stars? Nikki couldn’t say. But she did open up to us about how much she’ll miss playing the blonde vampire. “I’m really going to miss my character,” she said. “It’s so weird to think I’m never going to play her again.”

But she is looking forward to spending more time with her hubby, who was at Nikki’s side during the party last night and could barely take his eyes off his new bride. And while the first year of marriage is supposed to be the toughest, Nikki says everything is smooth sailing in hers. “If this is the hardest, it’s going to be easy breezy from here on in. We’re such a good team!”
