We are T-minus five days away from the release of Phillip Phillips’s first album, The World From the Side of the Moon.

During a visit to the studios of radio station KDWB Skywalk in Minnesota, the American Idol Season 11 winner debuted a new song off his upcoming release titled “Man On the Moon.” Fun fact: The title of P2’s album comes straight out of the lyrics to this song!

Armed with just an acoustic guitar and his trademark gravelly voice, Phillip gave fans a heartfelt solo performance of the upbeat jam.
