Phillip Phillips was crowned the winner of American Idol Season 11, but could he have won any other year? He doesn’t seem to think so!
Stopping by for a chat with Cambio.com, P2 shared his thoughts on the new judges and whether or not he could have made the cut as a contestant on Season 12.
“I don’t know how well I would have done,” he admitted, adding that Steven Tyler, Randy Jackson, and Jennifer Lopez understand him and his music.
“This season — I don’t know — they might have gotten me. Keith Urban, he’s an amazing musician, but I’m curious to see how Mariah and Nicki will judge.”
We can’t argue that Phillip’s quite a bit different from the new diva judges, but we’d bet money he could impress them any day!
