Phillip Phillips has had his fair share of major performances already, but his latest audience was especially impressive.

The American Idol winner took the stage on Tuesday for the One World concert in Syracuse, New York and performed for the one and only Dalai Lama.

“I just want to say it's an honor to be here for such a great cause bringing us all here together,” Phillip said of singing before His Holiness alongside the likes of Dave Matthews, Cyndi Lauper, Roberta Flack and David Crosby.

He performed his inaugural hit single “Home” for the concert and joined his fellow performers in a group variation of “Imagine,” which celebrated the birthday of late Beatles singer John Lennon.

Before the show, Phillip tweeted, "Excited to meet @dalailama today and perform with some other amazing bands/musicians!" We can only imagine!
