Phillip Phillips Talks Olympics and Performs “Home” on VH1's Morning Buzz (VIDEO)

American Idol winner Phillip Phillips has been on the road all summer for the American Idols Live! tour with his fellow Season 11 alums, and all that travelling has gotten him a bit drained, he admitted on VH1’s Morning Buzz.

“I’m pretty tired,” he said.

The gang still has a dozen shows left on the schedule and will finish out the tour in Milwaukee on September 11. But P2’s been fighting through the fatigue like the champ he’s been all year.

“It’s fun though seeing all the different cities and meeting new people and everything, and I’m making the best of it, having fun with these guys,” he continued.

Phillip also performed his hit single “Home”, which climbed the charts for a second time after it was used by the U.S. Women’s Gymnastics team. We gotta say, he never seems to miss a beat with that anthem!
