American Idol judge (who may or may not be sticking around for Season 12) Randy Jackson is as clueless about what’s to come from the show as the rest of us.

Fox promised some “creative reinvigoration” for the program’s new season as a result of the show’s recent ratings dip and has signed Randy’s client Mariah Carey for next season’s judging panel but beyond that, he’s got no idea.

As reported by Radar Online, Randy appeared on Chicago’s Windy City Live and admitted, “I don’t know anything. I mean what do you guys know… These shows keep evolving and moving and Idol is the greatest of its kind on TV.”

Whether or not he’s still on-board for the show, he’s still getting some judging pleas from passersby. “People come up and want to sing all the time, it’s just the funniest thing. It's almost like I have written above my head 'Sing for me, please, now!'" he said.

Here’s hoping Randy sticks around to usher in an all-new season!
