American Idol host Ryan Seacrest is fast becoming the media mogul in Hollywood and now the already uber-successful 37-year-old is reportedly setting his sights on another production company!

According to  Reuters, Seacrest — who just dropped $49 million on a luxe estate — and his company Ryan Seacrest Media are currently inquiring about the potential sale of the late Dick Clark’s company Dick Clark Productions.

Seacrest had a close working relationship with Clark, having signed on as co-host and producer of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin' Eve in 2005. Of Clark, Seacrest has said that he was “one of the greatest influences of [his] life.”

While Seacrest’s camp hasn’t confirmed his interest in the company, if he were to take over, he’d be involved in the production of the Golden Globes, the American Music Awards, So You Think You Can Dance, and, of course, New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.
