Now that Ryan Seacrest is executive producing a Jersey Shore-style reality series, he needs to get used to drama, right? Here’s his first chance!
Seacrest is being sued by Kathy Salem, a woman who was filmed for his upcoming show, Shahs of Sunset, according to TMZ. The series centers around a group of Persian-Americans from the Los Angeles area.
Back in July, Salem says she signed a waiver to appear on the show, but she didn’t realize she would be “forced against her will to play a demeaning and humiliating role.” The stars of the show allegedly verbally and physically assaulted Salem when she started talking to an engaged man. Now Salem wants all footage of herself removed from the show and she’s suing for damages of at least $100,000.
Seacrest out... possibly one hundred grand.
