More details are emerging on Scotty McCreery's eagerly-anticipated debut album! It seems the American Idol winner has allied himself with some serious hit makers. Taste of Country reports that the Nashville songwriting trio known the Peach Pickers has already written two tunes for Scotty. For those unfamiliar with country music, the Peach Pickers (comprised of members Rhett Atkins, Dallas Davidson, and Ben Hayslip) are responsible for almost half of Billboard’s current Top 10 country singles chart! Yet from the sounds of it, they’re more excited about working on Scotty’s album than anything else!

Rhett Atkins has written a song for Scotty called, “You Make That Look Good.” While his son Thomas Rhett has penned the tune “Write Your Number On My Hand.” Both songs are slated to appear on for the Idol winner’s forthcoming album. The Peach Pickers talked to Taste of Country about the opportunity to work with the suddenly sought-after Scotty.

Rhett Atkins says , “I never watched [American Idol], but I’ve seen him since singing and heard his song, and I think he’s good!”

Hayslip echoed his partner’s opinion of Scotty: “That’s definitely a big project to be on. The cool thing to me is watching this kid on TV every week, then reading an article where somebody asked him if he was familiar with any songwriters in Nashville, and he said the Peach Pickers. He said that he was flattered that we were pitching our songs to him "

Finally Davidson expressed admiration for Scotty’s unique style: “He’s obviously real country, and we don’t have any problem with that. He’s a tough one to get on because everybody in town’s trying to get on him. We definitely have all been working together or individually to get on his project. We think that’s the project to be on right now. He’s an American Idol winner and a country boy and a good kid, too. We always want to be on good ole boys’ records!”
