America’s Got Talent judge Sharon Osbourne has left the NBC talent show after the network fired her son Jack Osbourne from another show Stars Earn Stripes.

According to the New York Post, Sharon is angry with NBC for letting Jack go after he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, saying “I just can’t be fake … It’s discrimination, and it was badly handled."

While execs insisted at a press conference in Los Angeles last month that Jack wasn’t formally hired to begin with, there were some written documents to the contrary, leaving Sharon no personal choice but to walk away from her AGT post.

"It’s time to move on… They can’t make me do something I don’t want to do… All they can do is stop me from being a judge on another network for five years."

Sharon claims her decision is not about the money for Jack, but rather the opportunity “to show other people who have [MS] that your life is not over.”

A rep for NBC responded, “Sharon has been a valuable part of the NBC family. We regret any misunderstanding and wish Jack well.”
