Steven Tyler bought a pricey souvenir while vacationing in Hawaii over the holidays: a 3,000-square-foot home! The American Idol judge’s Christmas vacation was jam-packed with major life changes: Not only did he propose to longtime girlfriend Erin Brady, he plopped a whopping $4.8 million down on a new abode.
The Wall Street Journal has all the details on the two-bedroom house nestled in a nature preserve near Wailea. The estate, which was originally listed for $6.5 million, boasts a floor-to-ceiling aquarium and an infinity-edge saltwater pool. Steven and Erin reportedly had the house blessed by a local Hawaiian religious official over New Year’s, according to TMZ.
Dang, Erin Brady’s 2012 is kicking off to a nice start — first, a 5-carat diamond ring and now, a new Hawaiian house.
