This season of American Idol has seen some great performances. We’re totally not just gushing our typical love for the show when we say that the talent this season is the best ever. But while the Top 24 is packed with names that will certainly be forever etched on the Idol firmament, only one performance has been called “best ever” by veteran Idol judge Randy Jackson. That would be Jacob Lusk’s cramazing performance of “God Bless the Child” during Hollywood Week.

But what do we think about Randy’s very bold statement? No doubt, Jacob’s performance that night was great, but “best ever?” What about Fantasia’s legendary performance of “Summertime”? Or Adam Lambert’s haunting rendition of “Mad World”? Jacob certainly ranks with these all-time best Idol moments, but does he hands-down blow them out of the water like Randy said?

We want to hear what you think: Re-watch the performance below, then take our poll!
